Snake
The other day, while I was taking a walk in the subdivision, a black snake appeared out of nowhere and crossed the path I was on. For a moment, I thought I was going to scream and run. But as the snake slithered away in haste, it occurred to me that it’s probably as startled by me as I was by it.
